AF& the Riveters are beyond stoked for the summer tour! We hope to see you-safety first and all!

It was a perfect breezy evening down by the river when the Riveters took the stage on the summer solstice for their biggest show to date. The capacity crowd was treated to an extra long set including surprise covers of Elton John's "The Bitch is Back" and Dolly Parton's "9 to 5".

Beginning this January, the Riveters will be broadcasting LIVE monthly from Alberta Street Pub with rotating special guests. Join us on the Third Thursday of each month @ 7pm Pacific via Facebook Live. Local, in-person audience welcome as safety permits.

A six-piece Riveters lineup rocked the Alberta Rose Theatre on Friday night for a professionally-filmed livestream with a limited number of fans in the house. It was a special return to the stage for the band. Full set archived on the Portland Music Stream {subscribe!}. Select highlights below.  

Congrats to the Riveters for moving into the Final Five! The electorate for this round is comprised exclusively of those booked on board. The top three bands will join a star-studded lineup – now rescheduled for October 2021.

In celebration of Pride, four Riveters shared a virtual double-bill with Lavender Country... tag-team livestreaming on both Instagram and Facebook. The joint audience was treated to a rollicking evening as the bands continued to hone this strange new type of performance.

***BREAKING!*** AF&TR have been selected as a Top 10 "Emerging Artist" Semi-Finalist for the 2020 M.E. cruise. The top three bands in the polling will get the incredible opportunity to join the lineup, set sail and play three shows on the high seas. Music fans help make the call!

In response to Covid-19 social distancing mandates, the Alberta Rose Theatre is live-streaming 5 concerts a week on demand through April 17th. The Riveters will take the stage for a two-set show this coming Wednesday. Tune in!

"Too Close To The Sun" has been selected to screen among the next quarterly slate of shorts by Oregon filmmakers looping at the microcinema in Concourse C. The winter 2020 line-up will also be presented at the main theatre in NE Portland. {Date: TBD}

AF&TR are thrilled to announce that they will be hosting the Riveters Roadhouse every 3rd Friday of the Month at the beloved Laurelthirst Public House in Portland throughout 2022.  They will welcome featured guests, and play all the hits while also cutting their teeth on Album No. 2.  PDXers, mark your calendars! 

As originally broadcast from the Blue Moon Stage at the Oregon Country Fair in July, 2019, this rollicking Saturday afternoon set serves up a timely dose of live music and summer fun.

"ASHLEIGH FLYNN: Making Music While Fighting for Justice and Democracy." In this in-depth interview by Raffaella Mezzanzanica, Ashleigh talks music, politics, and what's moving and shaking in Riveters-land.

The first Riveters full-band set since Covid-19 did not disappoint. Six PDX-based band members reunited at a safe distance, plugged-in, and let it rip for a small masked-up crowd in Flynn's driveway – and a larger audience around the globe. 

Congrats to the Riveters and Home Perm Records for shoutouts in the design categories of "Music Website", "Promo Poster" and "Swag". In lieu of their annual awards show slated for June in New York City, the IMAs curated a video playlist of live nominee performances. Some great stuff in here!

Visit the Pacific Northwest virtually via Travel Portland 's #teleportland series @travelportland on Instagram and join Ashleigh for a one-hour live acoustic set. The series showcases local creative talent with a focus on chefs, makers and musicians.

While their music videos have been winning over film festival fans around the country, the Riveters are hitting the road again – bringing their live sound back to some of the band's favorite venues and sharing a few special billings in Northern California and Washington. 

The band spent an epic day mid-tour in Santa Cruz filming a live music video during store hours at Tomboy vintage western boutique – then headlined Western Wednesday's monthly country & honky tonk hootenany that evening.

IAF&TR had an absolute blast on the first tour out since the pandemic crushed the world.  We played our way through the beautiful PNW with stops in the Columbia River Gorge, Enterprise, Sawtooth and Sun Valley!  We are grateful to Sawtooth Family Gathering for inviting us, and to all the promoters along the way who hosted us.  Looking forward to next time!

Covid-19 pandemic response. This tune gorgeously captures the mood of the early days of lockdown – and all the angst (and hope?) of Spring 2020. Recorded remotely by individual band members. Produced, arranged, engineered and mixed in LA by electric guitarist Nancy Luca.

Another novel way to deliver live music in a pandemic: Flynn, Kat Fountain and Carmen Paradise laid down a three-piece, socially distanced acoustic barnburner on a hot summer night, high above Burnside Street in Portland.

In reaction to continued police brutality targeting citizens of color in the US, Flynn recorded a raw acoustic performance of 2008's critically-acclaimed "American Dream" and released this video across social channels on so-called Independence Day.

This blues/rock ditty "Six Feet Apart" was penned by Flynn in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Each Riveter added tracks from their home studios and contributed video clips of their pajama-clad performances. Nancy Luca mixed the audio and Kat Nyberg edited the band collage.
